2008 Parnassus announced as first place with merit winner in the ASPA national awards!
The
American Scholastic Press Association has recently announced that the
2008 edition of Parnassus is the winner of the first place with merit prize in their annual and national literary magazine
awards competition.
Parnassus was also chosen to have the best gallery section in the same competition. We are very proud to have been honored with this great award among some of the best literary magazines in the nation for 2008.

2008 Parnassus announced as second place winner in the CCHA Eastern Division awards!
The
Community College Humanities Association has recently announced that the
2008 edition of Parnassus
is the winner of the East Coast division's second place prize in their annual and national literary magazine
awards competition. The CCHA award winners are often considered the best of the best for community college
literary magazines, so we are honored to be chosen amongst the finest in the nation for 2008.
Congratulations as well to
Cabbages and Kings
from Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, who took
first place in the Eastern Division, as well as
The American River Review from American River College in Sacramento, CA,
who took the Best in the Nation prize yet again. Both books look amazing, and we at
Parnassus are proud to be
included alongside these excellent publications.
